CERAMIC VENEERS
CERAMIC VENEERS
Ceramic veneers are thin multi-layered ceramic laminates bonded to the tooth surface to modify and enhance the tooth colour and shape.
This conservative and cosmetic treatment approach requires minimal tooth substance removal while protecting the defective fillings and discoloured teeth.
Although composite plastic veneers are easier to make and cheaper in production, they are inferior to ceramic veneers both in quality and strength, durability and appearance. Composite veneers can be discoloured or chipped over time and need to be replaced more often.
